As promised, here are the covers for the two books that I am currently working on, Stone Seduction and A Million Kisses or More, with the added bonus of a little tease from each one. There may be a few tweaks to the covers between now and publishing but that is still a while away, since each book is only half complete. Enjoy!!
STONE SEDUCTION is the story of Remus, twin brother of Roman from Stone Solitude, and Joss, a woman who is desperate for a gargoyle’s protection, desperate for Remus.

[Remus’s] arms came around her waist as he held her closer, as he put his lips against her ear. “You’ll have to hold me close until everyone leaves. My robe seems to have fluttered off the building.”
Biting her lips to keep from laughing, [Joss] managed to choke out an apology, “Sorry.”
“Apology accepted,” he said with a sexy grin.
Looking over her shoulder, she caught the knowing smiles on the other gargoyles’ faces. Reddening, she said, “We seem to be having a slight wardrobe malfunction. Is there a spare robe lying around?”
“It won’t matter if you find another robe, Joss,” Remus growled in her ear, just loud enough for her to hear. “I plan on having you naked and on your back in three minutes flat.”
“There are children present,” she hissed, unable to keep from smiling.
“My brothers are old enough to understand the basics,” he grinned. “And if not, this might prove educational.”
“While your brothers are most likely well-versed in the art of seduction,” she grinned. “Your very young niece and nephew are not.”
His eyes widened as he pulled his head back and stared down at her. “Little Miss Georgia and Little Master James left about two minutes ago with the rest of their mothers. And there goes the rest.”
“How do you do that?” she asked softly, brushing her thumb over his full lower lip. “Know exactly what’s going on around you when all of your attention is on me?”
“It’s my job,” he said simply.
“Then it’ll be my job to see if I can ever distract you to the point that you are unaware of anything that’s not me,” she said.
“That’s never going to happen,” he vowed with a haughty smile.
“Just like you’ll never give up your nights?” she asked, arching a single eyebrow. At his nod, she grinned, “Well, I look forward to the day I prove you wrong on both counts.”
“Don’t hold your breath,” he grinned. Draping his arm around her shoulders, unconcerned about his nudity now that they were alone on the roof, he pulled her against his side. “Now, get that sweet ass of yours downstairs because you have ninety seconds left before I fuck you.”
And then there is A MILLION KISSES OR MORE, a romance to read after a dark book mind fucks you into darkness. It’s a story about two souls, Ana & Harrison, who are simply meant to be together with plenty of heat and sweet.

(Harrison) needed to see her, speak to her, alone. Standing up, ignoring the catcalls coming from Liverpool and Jones, he grabbed his handcuffs from his belt and crossed the distance between them. “Ana.”
Startled, she jumped as she turned around. She gifted him with her heart-stopping smile as she untied her apron. “Harrison. Did you run out of soda because if you did, I can’t help you. I just clocked off.”
“I came over to arrest you.”
Her lips parted and her eyebrows shot up to her hair line as she swallowed. “Pardon?”
Taking the apron from her, he set it down before he took her hand. He gently put the metal cuff on her wrist all the while holding her eyes. Her breath hitched as she automatically raised her other hand and softly asked, “Why are you arresting me?”
“You’re causing a disturbance to the peace,” he said, his voice coming out low and gravelly as he snapped on the other cuff. Her pupils were swallowing the green of her eyes as her chest heaved with each panted breath she took. He wanted to devour her whole. “More specifically, you’re causing a disturbance to my peace.”
“If you keep looking at me like that, your coworkers will think there’s something between us.”
“Sweetheart, I think they figured that out the moment we walked in and I couldn’t keep my eyes off you,” he told her, reaching up and brushing a strand of hair from her face.
Stone Solitude will be free Thursday 11/6/14, Friday 11/7/14, and Saturday 11/8/14 on Amazon so if you haven’t picked up your copy yet, now is the time. 🙂
(I will be posting the Halloween pictures on Sunday. Hopefully.)
Stone Solitude is now available at Amazon! (If you click on the image, it will take you to the Amazon US page) The cover is slightly different but I love it so much more.
Also, I am giving away three paperback copies over at goodreads so make sure to enter before midnight October 31st:
Now that Stone Solitude is wrapped up, I am hard at work on the next book. Well, I have the name of the hero and the first scene.
Wow, I can’t believe it’s been a month since my last blog post! It’s been a crazy month but, still, I used to post far more frequently. The darling daughter has had a LOT of dance – jazz, ballet, tap, tap solo, tap trio and musical theater. In between the various dance camps, we also managed to head down to Savannah for a too-quick visit with the eldest son and his beautiful wife. Also, if you get my facebook posts, you know that I am working on a new book. Originally, I was plotting out two loosely connected contemporary romances but then Roman came along and wanted his story told. Since he is a gargoyle he takes precedence. 😉 There is a little snippet over on my facebook page if you want to have a taste of what is to come. When I’m closer to wrapping the story up, I’ll post more information, including a call out for Beta readers. If you are interested, keep an eye on my facebook page since that is where I will be posting when and how. 🙂 Now, here’s one of the songs that is playing while writing Stone Vengeance (tentative title):
Wow, it’s been eleven days since my last post. It’s not that nothing has been happening – in fact, lots has been happening I just haven’t written about any of it. Between dance and writing and doing quick hits of a few sites on the internet, time has simply disappeared. First up is news of our cat. He’s a strange, strange creature. No longer skittish – at all – he has taken over the house and become incredibly loving. He plays with the dog, making sure she’s all right even as he tries to take her down. If he realizes you’re awake, he sits on your chest and purrs at you and if you try to read your kindle, he nudges the kindle aside and purrs louder. And he talks in his sleep, a little meow-purr that is adorable.
The Darkness Falls files have been sent off to createspace and a proof has been shipped out, which I should receive soon. The book isn’t done, there are still a few scenes left to write but I wanted to have a different format to kick start my brain into wrapping it up. I know what I want to write, what needs to be written, I just have to do it. Unfortunately, my brain is hot on a different story, a contemporary romance that is just gushing forth, keeping me awake late into the night writing and waking me up early in the morning with ideas and snippets of conversation. I started it before I got into Darkness Falls and then I hit a wall and was able to concentrate on Malorie and Feryn and their fucked-uppedness. But then I hit a pot hole with Darkness Falls and was going to start in on another story that was screaming at me. I decided to read over what I had written and it made me chuckle – until I hit the last scene that was there and it came to a screeching halt. Though it pained me, I killed the scene and ever since the words have been flowing. Luckily it was only 1,500 word or so and it’s already a thousand times better.
Yesterday, I took a silver sharpie and colored in my tattoo. It’s healing well – I’ve been using coconut oil on it so it smells good, too – and the next time we go down to visit my son and daughter-in-law I’ll be getting it colored in with actual ink. But until then, I have an entire array of markers at my disposal. 🙂
One last little note. I took part in Erotic Enchants Holiday games this past December, which was a lot of fun and Bookie Nookie is seriously one amazing woman for getting everything organized and keeping it running smoothly. Anyway, I sent out most of the prizes this past week (the paperback books will be going out in the mail when I get them!) and a few of the winners responded that they would leave a review when they were finished reading. My initial mental response is always, “Well, only leave a review if you loved the books.” LOL. Regardless if they love it or hate it, I always appreciate an honest review. Not all books are for all people so if someone doesn’t like my books, that’s all right. And comments are always welcomed.
I had some t-shirts made up – because it’s fun to do and I have the Local Author Showcase coming up – and here are the results:
They are available at zazzle, with other colors available. I kind of want to get them in the screen version – just black and white – for a street team, if that ever comes to fruition. We’ll see. 🙂
